People by Crystal Celebrates Best Night Club in Dubai for the 2nd Year in a Row
Winning the title of “Best Club” two years in a row is a very big achievement, especially in a Cosmopolitan city like Dubai, and the Crystal Group worked hard to accomplish this. 2011 was certainly their year, hosting many big artists that performed live, such as JaRule, EVE, Sean Paul, Joe budden, Shontelle, Sak Noel, Fabulous and Keri Hilson to name a few.
To celebrate their win, People by Crystal threw a two-night celebration over the weekend. There were no special appearances this time, but the People of Dubai were the stars of the night.
DJ Yuri, the club’s new resident DJ, was present and ready on Thursday night to play a killer set, varying from house and commercial to RnB and progressive house. Confetti and glow sticks were distributed to the crowd, who celebrated with the team as they toured the two-level club with MOET bottle of Champagne. That wasn’t everything; the loyal customers of the club wanted to be part of the show, and throw their own celebration by popping over 40 bottles of Crystal and Dom Perignon Rose in less than ten minutes.
The Crystal Group CEO had the chance to thank the People of Dubai for making them the #1 club for the 2nd year in a row.
One of the Arab world’s superstar performers showed up to personally greet the club with a live performance. It was nice; people from all nationalities reacted positively to it and were excited about the song, but for those of us pinging the club, it looked a bit ODD.
The celebration didn’t here — we decided to go for round 2 on Friday. DJ Joey was the master of the decks playing a different set than Thursday night’s, a house set which had some commercial and RnB tunes.
